Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for a trip to ancient Egypt!
Ms. Janet is bringing an ancient twist to her Ripley's inspired program: Can You Believe It!? King Tut edition.
She will have bizarre facts about the infamous young Pharaoh. There will also an archaeologist to talk about what they do and give examples of her own work on expeditions. Attendees will then break out to stations where they can do crafts, see "artifacts", color, participate in a dig site, and see how they would perform mummification.
This program is free and will be hosted by our generous neighbors at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center (C5). The educational content will best serve tweens between the ages of eight and 14.
