We will host our next cooking event on Thursday, August 21 at 10:15 AM in the downstairs Meeting Room. Participants will be instructed on how to make Barbacoa, a Mexican-style, slow-roasted, seasoned beef. Ingredients and equipment will be provided by the Friends of Freeman Library

This free event requires sign-up. Registration opens Thursday, August 07 at 12 PM and closes Monday, August 18 at 8 PM. Please contact the Adult Services/Reference Desk at the library or visit our website to register. Adults must go with any child under age 12.

You are allowed 3 no shows/no cancellations before you are no longer allowed a spot on our registrations for certain events. Please call to cancel if you are not going to be there.

The Next Chapter is an in-person event/service for adults of all ages where we offer informative and entertaining events presented by staff, the Friends of Freeman Library, and partners from our community.
