Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.
This event is first come, first serve. Once all chairs are filled, no more people will be able to come in the room.
The Friends of the Northwest Branch Library are holding their semi-annual book sale! A whole room of books for all ages, movies, music, and more! Most everything will be $1-$2 and 100% of the money earned at the sale go right back to the Northwest library to help fund our programs. So go crazy, give in to your inner book goblin! After all, it's not an addiction! It's giving back to your community!

Registration is required. To assist as many individuals as possible, you may only register for one appointment per week. If no one arrives by 1:15, the appointment will be canceled.The AARP Tax Volunteers return to the Atascocita Library this year on Mondays from 9 AM - 1 PM beginning February 2nd through April 13th to assist people with their taxes. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate income. You don't need to be an AARP member to use the service.
