Join the Maud Marks Library on Tuesdays @ 11:15AM for some Explorer Time!

Preschool Explorer Time is sensory play that encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity.

This 30 minute session will be every Tuesdays for ages 3-5 as children will get a chance to explore with fun activities that are good for the development of their language and motor skills!

Join us every Tuesday for The Teen Rec Room — your weekly afterschool hangout packed with šŸŽ® games, šŸ˜„ laughs, and šŸŽØ creativity. From buzzer-beating trivia and wild Jackbox challenges to laid-back crafting days and Nintendo Switch battles, no two weeks are the same.

Come solo or bring friends — it’s your time to 🧠 play, šŸ† compete, or just 😌 chill.

Come make something fun! Participants will be given supplies and instructions to complete a craft.

NOTE: this is a young adult program and is aimed at ages 13 through 18. Content may not be appropriate for younger children. Children under age 13 may attend at their parent or guardian's discretion.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do anĀ occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week!Ā Our program will beĀ held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!

Join usĀ every other Tuesday at 4:45 to create and build with LEGOs!
We will have the option of LEGO challenges or free build during our building session.Ā At the end of our sessionĀ you can share and display your creations at the JC Library for the month.Ā 

*This program is for ages 6-12 but siblings are always welcome.

Learn how to use the Cricut to make make your own custom designed sublimated mug.

Space is limited and registration is required. Basic computer and mouseĀ skills required.Ā This program is for Adults only and will meet in the Computer Lab.

Due to demand, if you have not arrived by 10 minutes after the start of the program, your spot will be released.

A weekly Computer Class for Adult Beginners to discover and improve their skills in this increasingly high-tech age. Every week we learn by doing Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email, Resumes, Internet Safety, Google Searches, and more!

Family Place Workshop is an early literacy program that highlights learning through play. During this five-week workshop, parents/caregivers and their toddlers ages 1-3 years, will have the opportunity to participate in play-based learning. Each week of the workshop will also feature a resource professional to answer questions on topics including literacy, child development, nutrition, and speech and language development.
