Come see Books Alive bring the children's book Three Nasty Gnarlies by Keith Graves from the page to the stage in a fully-staged original musical play that your family will love! Join us on Thursday, June 26th at 3:00 pm for Books Alive: Three Nasty Gnarlies.
Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully-staged original 45 minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message, encouraging students to develop a healthy love of books, while often providing their first opportunity to see live theatre. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are bright, engaging, fun, and entertaining for all ages!
When three funky, frolicking, dump-dwelling creatures see themselves through the eyes of a glamourous butterfly, their world is turned upside down. Alas, there is only one thing left to do. They too, must become butterflies. Three Nasty Gnarlies is a poignant story that illustrates an age-old truth: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
