Summer Reading Program
Come make some tiny art! This program is open to adults and high school teens. Canvases and paints provided, come relax and paint some tiny art for our show!
Completed tiny arts will be displayed throughout the month of August. Be sure to come by and check out the gallery!
Artists can retrieve their artwork from the library after the show, starting September 1st. Artwork that is not picked up by September 30th will become property of Harris County Public Library. The library reserves the right to exclude any work.
The San Jacinto College Small Business Development Center will be hosting a Small Business Workshop at the Jacinto City Library where you can learn how to start and maintain your small business. From business taxes to marketing, you can speak with experts in business who have over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship! All your questions will be answered at this one stop shop for small business owners!!! This event is for adults and completely free! July 14th at 4:30 PM!
Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 4:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, and Just Dance. All necessary equipment, including the console, controllers, and seating, is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience. Whether you're here to unwind, improve your skills, or meet fellow gamers, Switch 2 Play offers a welcoming space to play and have fun.

The CMH Workshop is back at the JC Library! Children’s Learning Institute, in partnership with the Children’s Museum Houston, has created workshops to encourage STEM development. During the workshop, families are presented with strategies that develop early STEM skills. Children and families engage in an interactive learning experience through a book read-aloud, followed by hands-on activity stations.
For adults and their children ages 4-7. Learn English through picture books.
