Where Are We Going?
We look forward to having some fun with trains at Zube Park in Hockley, Texas, dining at Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli, and enjoying ice cream at Blue Bell.
Houston Area Live Steamers at Zube Park
Our first stop will be at Zube Park (17560 Roberts Rd, Hockley, TX 77447) to see the Houston Area Live Steamers (HALS), live steam modeling devoted to model trains large enough to ride.
We will be taken on a tour of the engine and the barn followed by rides on the live steamers. It is highly recommended that all trip goers to wear full length pants for riding the steamers. Click here to learn more about HALS.
*Unfortunately, none of the buses with the wheelchair/scooter lift are available for this excursion. We cannot accommodate trip goers needing to use wheelchairs or scooters.

We'll stop by the Blue Bell Creamery (1101 S Blue Bell Rd Brenham, TX 77833) where we can enjoy scoops of ice cream and visit their Country Store.
