This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.
This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The Columbus Historical Preservation Trust (CHPT) is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to promoting Columbus’ rich and colorful history through the preservation of four historic properties.
This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.

The Next Chapter Classics Revisited continues Thursday, May 07 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. We look forward to showing The Incredibles, the 2004 Disney Pixar animated film about a family of undercover superheroes forced into action to save the world. This film features the vocal talents of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Samuel L. Jackson, Jason Lee, and Teddy Newton. Rated PG, The Incredibles lasts 1 hour, 55 minutes and includes Closed Captions.

Participants volunteer to lead discussions and they pick the material. Normally they will propose a title and everyone agrees. This is a laid back but serious group. They meet in person, February - November.
