A new teen and young adult book club is forming at Freeman Library! Join us as we discuss enjoyable reads from the Young Adult collection! Liminal Pages will meet on selected Tuesdays at 5 PM in the Teen Zone Program Space on the second floor. Refreshments will be served.
This month’s book is The Mary Shelley Club, by Goldy Moldavsky.
Freeman Branch Library presents the one and only Courtney Lee! Join us for a cozy fall musical story time with songs, stories, and much more. Recommended for children ages 3 to 10 years old who are ready to dance and have fun with Miss Courtney and her guitar!
By popular demand, the Freeman Library will be hosting a repeat weekend of our escape room!
Coinciding with this year’s Gulf Coast Reads pick, The Librarians by Sherry Thomas, this escape room is themed around an abandoned library found in a mysterious house left to you through an inheritance.
You’ll have 90 minutes to complete the room with a group maximum of 4 people.
Attendees under the age of 12 must have an adult in their group.
Joints, the meeting point of two or more bones, are an important part of the human body. Whether it's the shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles or another joint, we can take simple measures to ensure their health and mobility. During this session, we will explore the anatomy of a few critical joints along with simple movements and practices you can engage with at home to keep them as happy as possible.

This story time includes stories, songs and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal!
Surprise! Each child may choose one free book to take home at the end of the program!
Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Kid's Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.

This program is recommended for children 18 months to 3 years old and their parents or caregivers. It features books, songs, fingerplays, music, and movement.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available thirty minutes before the program begins in the Children's Department. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly, so please plan accordingly.
