Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.
This program is recommended for babies aged 0-18 months, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It includes age-appropriate stories, rhymes, bounces, and songs that lay the foundation for reading. Children will also develop sensory, fine motor, and social skills through playtime.

We look forward to having some fun with trains at Zube Park in Hockley, Texas, dining at Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli, and enjoying ice cream at Blue Bell on Wednesday, March 25.
Houston Area Live Steamers at Zube Park
Our first stop will be at Zube Park (17560 Roberts Rd, Hockley, TX 77447) to see the Houston Area Live Steamers (HALS), live steam modeling devoted to model trains large enough to ride.
This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.
Make small items (keychains, bracelets, etc.) from our colorful pony bead selection!
Use simple materials to create a floating object that glides across a table!
Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. These programs are designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and change on a monthly basis.
Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is recommended for children 18 months to 3 years old and their parents or caregivers. It features books, songs, fingerplays, music, and movement.
