Included in this hands-on workshop, Puppeteer Mr. Greg, shares the origin of shadow puppetry by demonstrating with puppets, he has created and collected from around the world. The participants will learn to make and perform their own puppets constructed with easy-to-gather school supplies. Teachers and participants will be encouraged to further explore the world of shadow puppetry for classroom projects, the stage, or fun at home.

A bashful dinosaur enlists her friends and the audience to help her overcome her shyness and find her voice. The audience learns the importance of courage, confidence, and overcoming personal obstacles from within—with a little help from friends.
Best suited for PreK–5th grade, but designed to be fun and engaging for all ages, including younger children and adults.

 Use slime materials and foam beads to create a crunchy slime!

Recommended for school-age children ages 5-12. These programs are designed to engage children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities and change on a monthly basis.

Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Children’s Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you like snakes and lizards? Come meet some live reptiles up close and learn about their unique features. You will even have a chance to touch them if you want to! Join us on Thursday, July 16th at 3:00 pm for Meet the Animals: Reptiles with Rebecca Franco from the Cy-Fair ISD Science Resource Center.
