This program is free and will be hosted by our generous neighbors at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center (C5). These games are perfect for elementary school aged kiddos to tweens.
Join us for a very special story time with author/illustrator, Travis Eck. Mr. Travis will read two books from the Otter the Auditor series, answer questions, and teach you how to draw Otter!

This performance is inspired by two of the oldest forms of communication—the drum and the human voice. It explores the origins and history of African percussion and Spirituals from Americans of African descent. Students learn about traditional African drums such as the Djembe, Ashiko, and Dun Dun, as well as the Congolese Tumbadora.
Come explore the history and meanings behind Spirituals; learn how rivers, locomotives, and the Big Dipper symbolized freedom! Get hands on experience creating rhythms representing the life cycle of a river.
