Event Title
Teen Time Stories (Summer Storytime)

We are thrilled to introduce Teen Time Stories—a specialized, small-group reading program designed to maintain a consistent reading routine, build community, and foster a love for reading.

For Parents & Kids: Consistency & Connection

Keep your child’s reading skills sharp and build a dependable summer routine with our cozy, highly focused reading sessions.
The Format: To ensure high-quality interaction, each teen volunteer is strictly limited to a maximum of 3 children.
The Benefit: Your child won't just be sitting in a crowd; they will receive personalized attention, active engagement, and mentorship from an inspiring local teenager.

Calling All Teen Volunteers (Grades 9–12)

Looking to make a real difference this summer, build your resume, and earn community service hours? We need enthusiastic leaders to helm our small-group story circles.
The Role: You will be paired with a mini "crew" of no more than three children, leading them through engaging stories and book discussions.
The Impact: This is a fantastic opportunity to develop mentorship skills, practice public speaking, and inspire the next generation of readers in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Important Registration & Attendance Policy

Because spots are extremely limited to maintain our strict 1:3 ratio, we require a high level of commitment from our participating families. Please review our registration guidelines carefully before signing up:

Strict Online Registration: Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis via our online portal. No walk-ins will be permitted to allow teens to be prepared and not caught off-guard.

Our Attendance Agreement: Because an absence directly deprives another child of a spot and disrupts our teen volunteers' scheduled time, we enforce a zero-tolerance attendance policy.

Failure to attend a registered session without providing advanced, reasonable notice will result in an immediate one-year blacklist from Teen Time Stories and all similar future library program iterations.

Help us keep our summer reading community vibrant, respectful, and reliable! Secure your spot today and make reading a highlight of your summer routine.
