Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully staged original 45-minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message and encouraging students to develop a love of books while often providing their first opportunity to see live theater. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are big & engaging, fun & entertaining for all ages.
For Summer 2026 Books Alive will bring The Ballerina with Webbed Feet by Pam Van Scoyoc! Pattie Patty is a duck who dreams of becoming a ballerina- but can a duck really dance? Through determination, friendship, and self-discovery, she learns what it truly means to belong and to be herself.
