Young artists and creatives between the ages of 7-13 are invited to join us at the library! With the help of Ms Stephanie and Ms Nicole, young artists will explore new art forms and new ways to express themselves. Each week is a different art project!
Week 2: Knotted Keychains
Explore the creative world of knots inspired by artist Windy Chien, whose work transforms everyday knotting techniques into beautiful works of art that inspire awe and understanding. Participants will use colorful plastic lacing to create their own knotted keychains while learning about pattern, texture, and design. This hands-on class encourages creativity, focus, and an appreciation for the art found in simple forms.
