Summer Edition of Discovery Time with Miss Christine

Discovery Time is designed for preschool and elementary-age children, featuring books, hands-on activities, creative play, and community partners that make learning engaging and memorable. This summer, families will explore American music from classical and patriotic sounds to jazz, ragtime, hip-hop, and dance. Programs will also highlight inspiring figures in science and discovery, including space scientists and pioneering fossil hunter Mary Anning. Each session invites children to learn through creativity, curiosity, and joy.
How to Attend
- Designed for children ages 3–10. Younger siblings may attend with the active support of a parent or caregiver, provided they do not disrupt the program.
- Registration opens one week before each program. Each child must be registered to secure their place.
- Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in the loss of your reservation.
- Programs may be photographed or recorded for library promotional purposes. Please inform staff prior to each program if you prefer that your child not be included.
