Learn how to design a 3D printable cookie cutter! Participants will learn how to turn 2D vector images into 3D printable models using Inkscape, a free vector design software, and Autodesk Tinkercad and Cookiecad, which are free online computer-aided (CAD) design software for creating 3D prints.
This program is recommended for ages 9 and up.Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult.This program requires proficiency with typing, spelling, and using a desktop computer and an internet browser.We will not 3D print during the program, but all participants will get to take home a pre-printed cookie cutter.Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating. When registering, include the number of participants in your attendance count; if you are an adult attending with your child but do not intend to participate in the lesson yourself, please do not count yourself in the number of people registered.Please arrive on time; we cannot guarantee that there will be enough time to catch up late arrivals.Date
