Come sing, dance, and play with your little one! This program is perfect for babies and toddlers up to age 5. Together, we will sing songs, play with fun props, make a simple musical craft, all while burning off some energy. It is a great way for your child to learn, make friends, and have fun!
Parent and caregiver participation is strongly encouraged.
Medicare's Annual Enrollment Period opens October 15, have you enrolled?
Founder and Agent Camille from Family Legacy Plus will be giving a very informational presentation on Medicare enrollment and what to expect. She will answer all of your questions and make you feel prepared. Each attendee will receive a printed handout; light refreshments will also be provided. Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the South Houston Branch Library will run from September 8 - November 10, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Tuesdays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.

Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
