Come and join us for 45 minutes of sensory exploration and discovery! Our "Little Explorers" program is for preschool age children from 0 - 5 years old and their caregivers. Please dress to get messy! This event is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Each session requires a free ticket for kids in attendance. Tickets are available in the library on the morning of the event.

Word Crafters is a writing group that meets every Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the conference room of Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is necessary.

We do prompts share, discuss, and encourage.

Come to the Barbara Bush Library and be assisted by a trained AARP volunteer.

Volunteers will be assisting each on Saturdays from 10am - 2pm between February 7th to April 11th (excluding holidays and library closures.)

Please make sure you bring a driver’s license, Social Security Card, and any relevant tax information for everyone included on the tax return.

Spots are first come first serve and you may want to arrive early as spaces will fill up quickly. For more information, call the library at 832-927-7800.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for Ms. Janet's jaw-dropping program exploring facts, legends and myths from around the world, and attempt record-breaking challenges!

This program dives into to the unbelievable to investigate strange history, bizarre animal facts, fascinating mysteries, and mind-blowing world records. It’s packed with interactive challenges, sparking curiosity, that will inspire tweens to think outside the box. With each visit, they'll be introduced to things that seem near impossible, all while having fun and learning something new!

Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.

Family Playdate Workshop

The Family Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.
