Seniors 55+ are invited to join the Maud Marks Library’s Timeless Travelers program for a trip to visit the McFaddin–Ward House. The McFaddin-Ward House is a historic home in Beaumont built in 1905 in the Beaux-Arts Colonial Revival style. We will tour the three-story home, carriage house, and gardens. The bus departs on Tuesday, August 5.
Registration period is from July 21-July 26, 2025. You can call or stop by the library anytime during the registration period. You may choose one companion to accompany you on the trip. Once the registration period has ended, if we have more people registered than we can accommodate on the bus, then we will do a random drawing of names. People not chosen in the drawing will be on a waitlist.
Timeless Travelers is a program series promoting educational and cultural enrichment for senior adults. Once a month, we will take free bus trips across southeast Texas to experience the culture and history of this great state. The only requirement is that you are old enough to attend (55+). Thanks to the Friends of the Maud Marks Library for sponsoring this series.
