Speaking English in real-life situations can be intimidating, but it is also one of the most rewarding ways to practice! This is why we want to provide a supportive and friendly environment where students can use the English they know in conversation with others.
Conversation Club is an informal time for adult students to use spoken English together. During this time, students will be able to practice speaking in a low-pressure, supportive environment, build confidence in real-world conversation, and connect with other English learners in the community.
The hour from 10:15 - 11:15 is for beginner students who have recently started to learn English. We will focus on:
- Useful, everyday topics, common words, and basic, high-frequency phrases
- Slow-paced activities with extra support to help beginner students communicate
We will meet each Tuesday morning this summer, June 3rd through July 22nd.
