The Young Audiences of Houston brings the Healing Art of Clay to the JC LIbrary! Experience the mind-clearing benefits of connecting This course will be an opportunity to work with clay as an art medium. Each participant will become familiar with the basic methods of construction and sculptural techniques. The focus of the program will be to learn the history of clay and
learn hand building techniques like pinch, coil and slabs and how to use this medium to create a pot that tells a story.

¡The Young Audiences of Houston trae el Arte Sanador de la Arcilla a la Biblioteca de JC! Experimenta los beneficios de la conexión para despejar la mente. Este curso te brindará la oportunidad de trabajar con la arcilla como medio artístico. Cada participante se familiarizará con los métodos básicos de construcción y técnicas escultóricas. El programa se centrará en aprender la historia de la arcilla y técnicas de construcción manual como el pellizco, el espiral y las losas, y cómo usar este medio para crear una vasija que cuente una historia.
