Seniors 55+ are invited to join the Maud Marks Library’s Timeless Travelers program for a trip to visit the Asia Society Texas Center. The Asia Society Texas Center is an educational institution that educates the public about Asia, share insight into current events in Asia, and celebrates voices from Asia and its diaspora. The bus will be departing on Thursday, June 5.

Registration period is from May 19 - May 24, 2025. You can call or stop by the library anytime during the registration period. You may choose one companion to accompany you on the trip. Once the registration period has ended, if we have more people registered than we can accommodate on the bus, then we will do a random drawing of names. People not chosen in the drawing will be on a waitlist.

Timeless Travelers is a program series promoting educational and cultural enrichment for senior adults. Once a month, we will take free bus trips across southeast Texas to experience the culture and history of this great state. The only requirement is that you are old enough to attend (55+). Thanks to the Friends of the Maud Marks Library for sponsoring this series.

Please call us at 832-927-7860 during this time. Registrants are allowed to put down the name of one other person. Participants will be chosen through a random drawing if the trip fills during the registration period. Any names taken after the registration period will be on a first-come, first-served basis. They are only guaranteed space if the trip is not yet full.

These trips are extremely popular. If you find you will not be able to attend, please call to cancel as soon as possible. We keep a waiting list and would not like to deny another person the opportunity to attend.
