Geri-Fit is a tier III (highest level) evidence-based health
promotion program and chronic disease self-management support
program. Designed exclusively for older adults, Geri-Fit helps
rebuild strength that's been lost through the aging process. Any
older adult, regardless of their age or fitness level, can participate.
Classes are offered twice a week-- Monday and Wednesday for 45 minutes.
“Zip It Up!”
Zipper Pouch Workshop: Learn to make a pouch with an installed zipper.
Bring a 9-inch closed zipper.
Previous attendance in “What Does This Thing Do?” and “Learn the Rules to Break the Rules!” or basic sewing machine knowledge required.
Join us for a Super Smash Brothers Tournament for tweens and teens.
Join us July 14th-17th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, for an art camp presented by the Museum of Fine Arts Houston! This event is free and requires registration and a commitment to attend the entire week.
Friday, the final day, includes a trip to the museum. A parent or guardian must attend the museum trip with their child. Applications are available now. Further instructions will be provided. Make sure to swing by to pick up an application!

This orientation session will introduce participants to laser cutting in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the laser cutter. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required.
