We are excited to announce another important Harris County partnership with the Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Department. The Fairbanks Branch Library will be hosting its mobile outreach team focusing on voter education. 

Come ask questions and learn more about Harris County Voter Registration, Voter Rights, Upcoming Election Dates, and Polling Locations.

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

Adults and Children are welcome

Walk-ins are Welcome

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.

Doodling is beneficial for everyone, but not everyone feels they are creative enough to do it. If you are an adult 18+, come spend an hour with us learning about the benefits of doodling and practicing this helpful skill, whether you feel like you are a creative person or not. We’ll go over a few types of doodles and the benefits of each to help you find what’s the most comfortable way to get your visual ideas down on paper. We’ll have paper and markers available for you, so just come as you are!

Join us on Wednesdays at 11:00 am for Toddler Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time is designed for toddlers aged 1 to 3 years old. We meet in the children's area to share books, songs, rhymes, and more! After Story Time, the toy cabinets are opened and the children are invited to stay and play. It's a great way to meet other caregivers and give your toddler a chance to socialize. 

Siblings are always welcome. 

We meet in the children's area where the picture books and campfire rug are located. 

No registration or tickets required.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!
