For the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, we will be making red, white, and blue cockades (ribbon circles). 

A basic knowledge of sewing (back stitch) is helpful, but not required.

Space and materials are limited. Be sure to register!

The Galveston Bay Area Scale Modelers Association (GBASMA) is a chartered member of the International Plastic Modelers Society (IPMS).. Club meetings are held monthly to present each other's current projects, share new modeling techniques, answer modeling questions and promote the hobby. We meet 10 AM to 12:30 PM on the 4th Saturday of each month except for May(meets the week after), November (meets the week before) and December.(no meeting).  
Registration not required.

Go back in time and enjoy a prehistoric meal consisting of chicken lollipops and an herbivorous salad! 

In this program, you'll learn how to make chicken lollipops out of drumettes along with a jicama, blueberry, and nut salad, and everyone will have the chance to try this delicious meal!

Accompanied with a short presentation on the speculated Neanderthal diet, attendees will gain some insight into what our ancestors ate.

Machines and materials will be provided by the Kingwood Branch Library. 

This program is reserved for patrons ages 18+.

Teens are invited to attend a Glowforge orientation, where they will earn the Laser Cutter badge that they can use to laser items at any available HCPL location, and they'll also get to laser engrave agate slices!

All materials and snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.
