Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.

Siblings are always welcome.

This program is held in our library meeting room.

No registration or tickets required.

Hosted by Creative Mental Wellness, DAISY’s Little Sprouts helps younger children start building a healthy emotional vocabulary and practice empathy. Children and caregivers participate together in guided story time followed by fun, reflective activities. **DAISY The Mental Health Dachshund will even join each book club discussion!

Join us for a community event to watch emerging young artists display their poetry and compete for a spot on the Meta4 Slam poetry team! Anyone is welcome to watch these amazing poets! 

What is a slam?

A poetry slam is a competitive event in which poets perform spoken word poetry before a live audience and a panel of judges. Slams can be loud and lively, with audience participation, cheering and dramatic delivery.

Looking for homework help? Come on in to your local library to find the resources you need for success! Aldine Library will offer a quiet space for teens and kids on Thursdays @ 5:30 PM. Librarians will be on hand to provide assistance.

Harris County Public Library offers a variety of free resources, including computers, printers, and access to special research websites available with your library card.

Note: Librarians will not do the homework nor can we guarantee any grades; this program is here to offer assistance answering questions.

Join us for an engaging AI presentation on Wednesday, March 25 at 6:30 PM. AI has rapidly grown influence in society. We will review the key aspects and some useful capabilities to benefit from. This is a presentation by Atiq Hashmi who is an IT professional with over 20 years of industry experience and an advocate of AI technology. This program is for all ages.

Celebrate Women’s History Month with us at our Women’s History Tea Party—join us for a community gathering filled with conversation, connection, and appreciation for the women who paved the way.

Dress Code: Feel free to dress in your favorite tea party clothes!

Spots are limited. There will be 2 sessions. Session:1-1:30pm, Session 2: 1:30-2pm. Tickets to enter will be passed out 30 minutes before the event.
