Join us for a special Kids' Corner program! In this craft, your imagination is the limit. What can you make using recycled materials? Work as a family or design you own creation. We can't wait to see what you come up with! Families with young children are invited to participate.

Join us every Saturday in our children's area for a family-friendly Story Time with Sawyer, a certified therapy dog, and his human, Betsy!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Barbara Bush Library, we invite young artists to show us what the library means to them!

Through your artwork, show us how the library has made a difference in your life. Maybe the library has helped you discover a favorite book, learn a new hobby, make friends, start a business, or explore your creativity; the possibilities are endless!
There is no wrong way to see your library. Show us the library through YOUR eyes!

Who Can Participate?
There are two age groups who can submit artwork:

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Stories Around the World!

Travel the world without ever leaving the library! Join us twice a month as we explore a different country through stories, songs, crafts, and fun facts. Perfect for young explorers and their families!

Capacity is limited, so please pick up a ticket from the children's desk 15mins prior to the start of the program.

Drop off new or gently used Halloween costumes and accessories at the library and help stock the Boo-tique. 

All ages and sizes are welcome! 

Bring all drops to the 2nd Floor Reference Desk.

Shopping begins Friday October 2nd at 11:00 (NO EARLY SHOPPERS)

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for a unique experience, catered just for you!

We're back at it here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library! Show off your favorite spooky (or not so spooky) book characters, gourd style.

Multiple pumpkins of varying sizes can be combined into one entry as long as their combined size is no larger than a basketball. Three prizes will be awarded: "Sour Patch (silliest)", "Crowd Favorite", and "The Great Pumpkin".

Don't forget to come in and vote!

What You'll Need:

Join us for an adventure in Hispanic folktales! This show features a variety of characters from a wide range of cultures in stories that celebrate the various folk tale traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. Your young audience will love these high-energy stories being brought to life.

Join our global storytelling adventure for children ages 5 to 11! We explore magical folklore, legendary heroes, and clever tricksters from different countries and cultures through interactive tales, music, and imagination.
