Join us for an interactive early literacy experience for infants and their caregivers. This program is geared toward babies newborn-18 months and features a 20-minute guided story time with songs, a book, and a new baby sign each week, followed by 25 minutes of free play and opportunity for community building between caregivers.
This program is a wonderful way to encourage your child’s language development, early literacy, and connect with other parents!

Join us for a delightful afternoon of creativity at our Paint Along program! For June, we will be following along a step-by-step online instructor and painting a "Midnight Koi Fish".

Come see live animals at the library as the Zoofari inspires children to learn about animals , and in the process, they will be inspired to do great things for the protection of exotic animals and their native habitats as adults. This event is for ages 8-12 years old.

Practice reading aloud in English with other adult learners this summer on Thursday mornings in June and July.
Focus is on pronunciation, fluency, and confidence through shared reading in a supportive library setting.

Does your closet have pieces you don't wear anymore? Looking to change up your wardrobe? Here's your chance to do so! Participants can bring new or gently used clothing items (shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, skirts, dresses) during the weeks of June 14-July 7. A limit of 10 clothing items per participant can be dropped off. One ticket will be given for each item donated that participants can then use to trade for clothing on the day of the program. All remaining clothing items will be donated to charity.

Come see real live snakes up close! Join us as we learn about the various species of snakes in Texas and the surrounding region. If you're lucky, you might just get to touch a snake! For ages 8-12 years old.

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
Whether you're a cosplayer or not, join us to create your own costume pieces! Participants will go on choose from a list of garments and accessories and use Kingwood Branch Library's Glowforge, 3D Printers, and sewing machines to make the vision come to life.
