On Monday, July 27th, the Katy Fire Fighter Department will be visiting from 4-5 pm! Come learn about fire safety and the ins and outs of a fire truck!

Hosted by Creative Mental Wellness, DAISY’s Little Sprouts helps younger children start building a healthy emotional vocabulary and practice empathy. Children and caregivers participate together in guided story time followed by fun, reflective activities. **DAISY The Mental Health Dachshund will even join each book club discussion!

How slow can you roll? This challenge uses common household items to demonstrate the forces of friction. Can you create a wrapper around a tin can that slows your roll while still getting to the bottom of the ramp? The slowest wins! 

Teens and tweens ages 11 - 17 are invited to a social hour with games, crafts, and fun! Registration is preferred but not required—feel free to drop in!

Join our Tween Book Club here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library! We will discuss a new book every month paired with a fun activity.

The book for August will be A Dog-Friendly Town by Josephine Cameron.

Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.
