Spring into a new hobby! In this program you will learn about a new hobby every week such as gardening or jewelry making, and get a chance to try out! The goal of this program is to spark a child's interest in learning a new hobby. This program is for children in Kindergarten- 5th grade.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.

Harris County Public Library is teaming up with the Harris County Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management on January 8th at 3 pm to discuss how YOU should respond and prepare for natural disasters.

Each session is a new hands on experience Creating using STEM principles designed especially for Tweens! This program is for children 8-12. Online registration required. Parent/Guardian attendance is required at this program. 

Storytime for children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) 
Build your child’s communication through shared reading! Families will learn to model language on AAC devices, foster a love of books, and connect through this interactive story time.
