Switch 2 Play is a weekly Thursday event at 5:00 PM in the library, where people of all ages can relax and connect through popular games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart World, Just Dance, Street Fighter VI, and more! All necessary equipment—including the console, controllers, and seating—is provided for a fun and easygoing gaming experience, though feel free to bring your own controllers if you prefer!
Whether you're here to unwind, improve your skills, or make friends, Switch 2 Play offers a welcoming space to play and have fun.
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
Haunted homeschoolers, join us in the Grand Chamber for a morning of spine-tingling creativity and monstrous masterpieces at Crafts from the Crypt!
Every week this October at 11:00 AM, creative ghouls and goblins ages 5–10 will gather at the library to resurrect ordinary craft supplies into spectacularly spooky art. From friendly phantoms to creepy-crawly keepsakes, each session will be horridly fun and hands-on for growing monsters--we mean makers. Parents, don't fear—the mess stays with us in the crypt.

This program is strictly for ages 8 to 12. If there are Littles in your group, please come to the Family Place play area to engage in age appropriate distractions while the siblings are crafting new creations.
Supplies are limited, so please pick up a ticket from the Children's staff prior to the program.

Join us for an edible craft! Using graham crackers, candy corn, pretzel sticks, and nutella, create a campfire you can eat!
All materials will be provided. This program is for ages 0-17.

Join us for our Tween Book Club! We will discuss the book of the month, have snacks, and enjoy book related activities. This month we will be reading "The Dragon Warrior" by Katie Zhao.
On Friday, November 6th, we will discuss chapters 1-14.
On Friday, November 20th, we will discuss the rest of the book.
This book club is intended for children ages 8-12. Online registration is required; space is limited.
