Want to make your voice heard and help shape what happens at your library? The Stratford Branch Library is looking for motivated teens to join the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC)—a team of young leaders who help connect local youth with the library and the wider community.
As a TAC member, you won’t just attend meetings—you’ll help plan programs, influence decisions, and create a better space for teens through service, advocacy, and leadership.
Join us for an informative session with Per Scholas, a national nonprofit that provides no-cost, industry-aligned technology training and career support designed to expand economic opportunities in our community. Per Scholas prepares learners for in-demand careers in fields like IT support, cybersecurity, data analytics, software development, and more — offering hands-on technical instruction, professional development, and job placement assistance at no cost to students.
At this session you’ll:
Introduce books you have already read and want to share with others. Listen to recommendations.
Nothing to buy! No assigned reading! Come and discuss Science Fiction & Fantasy books!
Books Discussion starts at 6 PM, usually the first Monday of the month In Person or Online using Teams.

Savvy Stitchers is a friendly group of crafters of all ages, getting together for fellowship while enjoying their creative hobbies. It is a great way to meet neighbors that have a mutual love for knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, quilting, or other crafts. We all love to learn something new!
