Often described as 'meditation in motion', Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion exercise that helps to strengthen your muscles and relax your mind.
ESL Classes (Various Levels)
All of HCPL English-learning classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors and are completely free to attend. Learning materials are provided.
Beginner ESL Classes for Adults who speak little or no English. You will practice speaking, reading, writing and listening.
Advanced ESL Classes & Conversation Club for Adults who want to reach fluency in English. Practice speaking, reading, writing and listening with native speakers in a nonjudgmental environment.

Join FutureU advisor(s) for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to prepare for and successfully obtain your GED using free and trusted resources, plus information of in-person and virtual academies
During this workshop, you’ll receive guidance on how to:
Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!
Join us every third Tuesday for a creative crafting experience! Discover new projects, spark your imagination, and connect with fellow craft lovers. All supplies are included.
For adults ages 18 and up. Registration is required. If you have not checked in within 10 minutes of the program start time, your spot can be released.

Join a Future U College and Career advisor for job Readiness preparation. This hands-on workshop will provide assistance in creating and or updating resumes and cover letters. Need interviewing tips, how to dress for success, and what direction should you take.
