AARP Tax Aide will once again be available at the Fairbanks Branch Library. This service will be available Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 2 pm. Service Begins: Monday, February 2, 2025 – Ends: Monday, April 13, 2025. No Service on Saturday, April 4 due to Easter Holiday.
This program is free and available to the public. You do NOT have to be a member of AARP, nor are there income or age limits on who can use this free service.

Whether you've never touched a tile in your life or you've played all kinds of versions, come play American Mah-jongg with us! There will be a table for complete beginners and there will be a table for open play. If you already have a set and you just want to play with people, there will be open tables to play on. With no assigned book or group discussion, Introvert Happy Hour Book Club is ideal for those who want the community of a book club without the homework, conversation, and social pressure. Please join us in the Upstairs Conference Room on the second Monday of the month to read silently as a group without any discussion and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library. The door opens at 6:00 PM.
