What we offer:
De-stress, unwind, and enjoy the almost-magical calm that comes from painting with watercolors.
Each week features a different theme -- we'll have some inspiration and supplies ready for you! But feel free to create something else if you'd like.
Want pointers on painting techniques? We'll do our best to help! But please keep in mind that this is not an art class -- it's a chance to be creative and relax while enjoying each other's company in an encouraging environment.

Step into history and explore the people, places, and events that shaped our country. The American Revolution Experience, a collaborative project of the American Battlefield Trust and the Daughters of the American Revolution is coming to Freeman Library!
The exhibition display panels and interactive kiosks use storytelling and illustration to connect visitors with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation. The exhibit will be on display at Freeman Library from April 27th through May 16th, 2026, during regular library business hours.
The Next Chapter Classics Feature Film Series continues Thursday, April 30 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Room. We look forward to showing Hamnet, the 2025 Academy Award Nominee based on the novel of the same name by Maggie O'Farrell where Agnes Shakespeare – the wife of the world's most famous writer – struggles to come to terms with the loss of her only son, Hamnet. This film stars Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, Zac Wishart, James Lintern, and Joe Alwyn. Rated PG-13, Hamnet lasts 2 hours, 5 minutes. This film includes Closed Captions.
Join a Future U College and Career advisor for job Readiness preparation. This hands-on workshop will provide instruction and assistance in creating and or updating resumes, drafting and submitting meaningful cover letters, researching and preparing for interviews or how to assess your talents and interests and how to translate those to a rewarding career. Future U will bring the necessary information to work with you one-on-one to implement the knowledge presented in the presentations.
Do you love crafting? Do you love caffeine? Join the arts & crafts program Make & Wake where we do a new project every month while sipping on coffee or tea, provided by the library. Feel free to bring your own cup of love to drink during the program. This occurs every first Tuesday of each month at 11am. Adults only.
