Developed by the Arthritis Foundation, this program has been proven to help people with arthritis engage in walking, stretching, and strengthening exercises to reduce pain, increase balance and strength, and build confidence in their ability to be physically active. 

This program is available for people 60 years of age and older with arthritis.

This informal class gives you an opportunity to keep learning and refresh your memory in a welcoming, stress-free environment. Don’t let the holidays stand in your way—play games, practice conversations, and finally ask the English questions you’ve always wanted answered!

Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

This class will teach participants how to navigate the internet. Topics include common web browsers, searching for websites, and basic safety and scam prevention tips. Basic familiarity with computers (turning on the computer, using the mouse, basic typing) is required. Registration is required, register online @ hcpl.net. We will be using library computers, so no need to bring your own!

Significant changes are anticipated for Medicare and Medicaid in 2026. Come learn about those changes, ask questions, and find answers. Armed with information, you can make an informed choice during open enrollment.  This is a free program presented by Golden Outlook.  Call the Fairbanks Library at 832-927-7890 to sign up.  Limited spaces, call now to reserve your seat.
