Senior Adults
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, the High Meadows Branch Library is proud to host Texas America 250, a special traveling exhibit from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. This pop-up exhibit invites visitors to explore the legacy of Texas through archival documents and images that reflect our state’s unique contributions to the American story.
Learn about the symbolism of different stones in various cultures of indigenous Americans while crafting pieces of your own.
Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.

This is a free 10 week course to prepare students for the 128 question United States Citizenship exam. Individuals must register for the program in person, and commit to all 10 classes. Classes are in ENGLISH and study materials are provided by us. Following the 10 weeks, students will participate in an 1-1 Mock Interview with the instructor.
