Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully staged original 45-minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message and encouraging students to develop a love of books while often providing their first opportunity to see live theater. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are big & engaging, fun & entertaining for all ages.
This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to various hand embroidery stitches and techniques.
- This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be able to help their children with the project.
- This program involves sharp embroidery needles and embroidery scissors.
- Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating.

We’ll explore the world of early literacy through singing, talking, writing, playing, and reading! Each super fun educational adventure is inspired by celebrations and traditions from that month. There's always a free book waiting for you at every session!
Join us once a month for a Pokemon club. We’ll make a fun craft, and you’re welcome to bring your deck to show off or battle!
Start summer with a little creativity at the library! Children in grades K–8 can drop in to paint, draw, craft, and explore using a variety of art supplies and donated materials. Families are welcome to relax, create together, and stock up on books before summer adventures begin.
No ticket is required. Free and open to the public - just stop by and create!
Join us on Wednesday, June 3rd at 2:00 PM to learn to doodle dinosaurs! This program is for children ages 6-9. Siblings welcome!
In this class, Dalton Stark will share his personal process for doodling dinosaurs — encouraging creativity, and having fun with shape language to discover their own unique way of drawing prehistoric life.
Dalton is a Texas-based artist who loves drawing dinosaurs. His creature-focused artwork is inspired by a lifelong passion for paleontology, an appreciation for biodiversity, and a deep devotion to drawing.
Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.
Siblings are always welcome.
This program is held in our library meeting room.
