The Black History Quiz Bowl is formulated to be a competition where people exhibit their knowledge of significant people and events, past and present related to Black History. Study guides can be found at the front desk. Geared towards ages 12+. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Get Creative with Cricut! This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut machine capabilities, operation, and use. Completion of this orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut at Harris County Public Library.

Those completing the class will then be able to schedule a time to use a laser cutter at HCPL maker locations. This class is appropriate for patrons ages 12 and up. Join us for the Monthly Make and Mingle- A hands-on program where creativity meets technology! Each month, adults and teens are invited to explore a new craft or DIY project using in-house maker techniques—alongside traditional crafting supplies.
The craft for March will be BeDazzled Rhinestone Rubber Ducks! Put your diamond painting skills to the test and create a bejeweled rubber duck.
