Join us for our weekly after school STEAM club, and help us kick-off our mythical creature themed month with an Enchanted Forest Lego Challenge!

"Raise the Roof" is an engineering-based program where kids will use different elements such as Lego bricks, paper, found objects, etc. to complete a building challenge.

*Recommended for children ages 5-11, younger siblings are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Evelyn Sardina, Educator will facilitate a Montessori Method workshop which is an early childhood education program that emphasizes freedom of choice, hands on learning.It does not test the child nor uses grades. Focus is on the natural interest of the child. It nurtures the social, emotional, physical and academic development of the learner. Join us for our weekly homeschool meet up, where kids can engage in STEAM activities such as building challenges, fiber art crafts, science experiments, process art, games, and more, all while having fun and socializing. Parents/caregivers are welcome to join each other in the library for an informational session and networking.

*Recommended for children ages 5-11, under 5 must have an accompanying adult.

Join Future U for Career and Job Readiness preparation. This will be a monthly series helping you navigate marketable career readiness and workforce preparation. This hands-on workshop will provide instruction and assistance in creating or updating resumes, drafting and submitting meaningful cover letters, researching and preparing for interviews or how to assess your talents and interests and how to translate those to a rewarding career. Future U will bring the necessary information t0 work with you one-on-one to implement the knowledge presented in the presentations.

Word Crafters is a writing group that meets every Wednesday at 4 pm in the conference room of Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is necessary.

We do prompts share, discuss, and encourage.
