Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Toddler Time with Ms. Amberly! We will read stories, work out our wiggles, and sing some songs.
A weekly Computer Class for Adult Beginners to discover and improve their skills in this increasingly high-tech age. Every week we learn by doing Word, Excel, Email, PDF, Internet Safety, Google Searches, HCPL resources and more! Must have a library card to attend.

Join us for Preschool Story Time each Tuesday at 11:30 am where we will listen to stories, sing and dance, and do an occasional craft to explore creativity and also help build fine motor skills each week! Our program will be held in the children’s area of the Fairbanks Branch Library. This program is for children ages 3-6. Siblings are always welcome!

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.
Siblings are always welcome.
This program is held in our library meeting room.
No registration or tickets required.
The Traveling Naturalist Program is designed to teach children about the wonders of the natural world and its inhabitants. Naturalists visit your school or recreational center so that they will present a 45-minute educational program of your choosing that will include artefacts.
Children learn to appreciate nature and their environment by interacting with animal artefacts. Unique programming is designed to enhance the curriculum of science and biology classes in schools and recreation centers across Harris County.
