Event Title
Career Comeback: Returning to the Workforce with Confidence

Returning to work after time away can feel overwhelming, but an employment gap does not have to prevent you from moving forward.

Career Comeback is designed for adults preparing to reenter the workforce after unemployment, caregiving responsibilities, layoffs, incarceration, personal circumstances, or an extended career break.

This workshop will help participants assess where they are now, recognize the skills and experience they already have, identify realistic career opportunities, and develop a plan for successfully returning to the workforce. Participants will explore strategies for addressing employment gaps professionally, rebuilding workplace confidence, updating skills, identifying resources and training opportunities, and adjusting to changes in today's workplace.

Rather than simply focusing on finding a job, participants will work toward creating a personalized career reentry plan that considers their experience, current needs, career interests, potential barriers, and long-term goals.

Participants will leave with practical resources, greater clarity about their next steps, and an actionable plan for making their career comeback.
