Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully staged original 45-minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message and encouraging students to develop a love of books while often providing their first opportunity to see live theater. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are big & engaging, fun & entertaining for all ages.
Our Summer 2026 production is an adaptation of The Ballerina with Webbed Feet by Pam Van Scoyoc! Pattie Patty is a duck who dreams of becoming a ballerina- but can a duck really dance? Through determination, friendship, and self-discovery, she learns what it truly means to belong and to be herself.
Tickets are required and will be handed out to all attendees starting 30 minutes prior, while supplies last. Attendee must be present to receive a ticket.
