Are you ready to race against your friends on Rainbow Road, dance to your favorite songs, or fight against your foes?
Join Teen Gaming! The program occurs every Tuesday after school from 4pm-5:15pm.
Each month, participants are invited to sketch, plan scripts, make backdrops, record, and edit stop motion animation films! All equipment and snacks will be provided. This program is for teens ages 13-18.
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
This event is open to those ages 13 and older. Registration is required.
Learn how to book time with the Kingwood Library’s Mayku Vacuum Former. This orientation session will introduce participants to vacuum forming services in the library, and the basics on how to create your own uniquely-shaped plastic molds. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a vacuum former at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Calling all teen artists! Whatever your medium is, you're invited to hang with other artists and work on your projects. Sketch pads, art pencils, markers, paints, yarn, crochet hooks, and more will be available for those who just want to show up and create. No registration is required. Snacks will also be provided.
This program is for teens ages 13-18.
Community Resource Credit Union will provide a class on budgeting fundamentals
which will focus on practical strategies to create, maintain,
and stick to a realistic budget for long-term success.
