This story time includes stories, songs and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal!
Surprise! Each child may choose one free book to take home at the end of the program!
Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Kid's Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
This program is recommended for babies aged 0-18 months, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. It includes age-appropriate stories, rhymes, bounces, and songs that lay the foundation for reading. Children will also develop sensory, fine motor, and social skills through playtime.
Adults – the Next Chapter Monday Matinee continues Monday, September 28 at 2:00 in our downstairs Meeting Room. We look forward to seeing Disney Encanto, the 2021 animated film where an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family with a unique gift - every child except one, Mirabel. This film features the vocal talents of Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, and Jessica Darrow.
Recommended for children 3 to 5 years old. This program is designed for children who are ready to sit and listen to stories in addition to enjoying songs, fingerplays, and action rhymes.

The Next Chapter Classics Revisited continues on Thursday, October 29 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Classroom. The Next Chapter Classics Feature Film Series continues on Thursday, October 22 at 10:15 AM in our upstairs Innovation Lab Room. We look forward to showing Project Hail Mary, the 2026 sci-fi epic based on the novel of the same name by Andy Weir where a science teacher wakes up alone on a spaceship. As his memory returns, he uncovers a mission to stop a mysterious substance killing Earth's sun, and realizes that an unexpected friendship may be the key. This film stars Ryan Gosling, Milana Vayntrub, and Sandra Hüller.
