Promotes early literacy skills. The program features reading, singing, talking, writing and playing. We will help give you the resources you need to expand your child’s skills, preparing them to read. Recommended for children ages 2-5 years, it features age appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination.

Use your creativity & engineering skills to make an edible fall-themed house! We'll have some cute fall decorations and some spooky ones. We'll use graham crackers, candy, and frosting. This program is on Monday, October 5th at 2:00 PM for homeschoolers ages 6-18. Registration is required. Registration will open September 21st.
A waiver will be sent after you register. You will need to fill out a waiver for each child who plans to attend. Please send us an email to sm@hcpl.net to let us know about any allergies or dietary restrictions.
Come sing, dance, and play with your little one! This program is perfect for babies and toddlers up to age 5. Together, we will sing songs, play with fun props, make a simple musical craft, all while burning off some energy. It is a great way for your child to learn, make friends, and have fun!
