These classes will cover the following computer topics:
June 1st at 12pm - ChatGPT & A.I. Basics
June 8th at 12pm - Microsoft Word
June 15th at 12pm - Smart Phone Basics Class
Movie discussions! Topics will be based on the previous day's movies.
Refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.
Nurture your strength and mental health with Tai Chi at Parker Williams Library!
Often described as 'meditation in motion', Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion exercise that helps to strengthen your muscles and relax your mind.
This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and /or practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided. Registration required.
Join storyteller, Leona Hoegsberg and hear stories from around the world. These stories are filled with audience participation, props, songs, games and lots of fun. The stories mainly come from literature, since Leona loves books! She takes the stories off the page and bring them alive! Kids 3-7 years old.
Tickets will be provided 30 minutes before all programs at the information desk. Must be present to get a ticket. Space is limited.
Join Bay Area Turning Point at Clear Lake- Freeman Library in the downstairs Meeting Room for an hour workshop on healthy teen relationships. Learn communication hacks, boundaries, practical skills, and red/green flags!
Teen will understand how healthy relationships work, how to spot harmful situations, and who to contact if they need help.
Light refreshments provided by the Friends of Freeman Library.
