Would you like to learn cursive? Whether you're a total beginner or looking to improve your handwriting, join us for this 4 week class on how to write cursive. Each week, we will focus on different letters and techniques to improve your cursive and handwriting overall. Learn this skill to improve handwriting, reading, and spelling. This program is for ages 9 - 17.
To register for the class, you must take an in-person placement exam.
Harris County Public Library's Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grade (Little Buddies) for 10 weeks to share the joy of reading. More information can be found on our website.
The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from September 16 - November 18, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Wednesdays from 4:45 PM to 5:30 PM.
