For Hispanic Heritage Month, Esteban will teach us a little history about Latin American cuisine, and how to make a delicious smoothie from Panama! This is an all-ages event. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

A teaching artist from the Houston Ballet will be here for a special Move and Read Aloud event. Dance to Learn is a movement integration program that approaches academic curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective. A storytime format, but with LOTS more movement and dancing! Recommended for children age 3-6 and their caregiver(s).
Looking to chat with other homeschoolers and swap tricks and tips?  Join us for Homeschool Hangout. Here, students will engage with crafts, LEGOs, and games, while caregivers have the opportunity to network. Â
This session is for kids grades K through 6th. Â

Precinct 3 will host an ELQN information table at the Dia de los Muertos celebration at the Pearl Fincher Art Museum, a central community hub located next to the Barbara Bush Library. This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with Hispanic families, including Spanish-speaking community members who may not feel as comfortable engaging at county-sponsored events.
