Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Social Hour
Join us at the library for an AAC User Social Hour with a focus on connection-- providing a welcoming space to meet, socialize, and communicate with other AAC users in our community. Participants can share experiences and tips while also having the opportunity to ask the Humble ISD AT team questions about devices, features, and communication strategies.
Who Can Attend?
- High-tech AAC users ages 3 to 22 years old who are familiar with their device and required minimal support
- Must bring the student’s AAC device (lite-tech boards available)
- One caregiver required to attend with each student (limit: 1 caregiver per student)

Led by Humble ISD Assistive Technology with support from district staff and University of Houston students.
Space is limited; online registration required. Please register with the name of child attending- and 2 people attending under that child's name (child+ one caregiver)
