Bright Star Theatre presents Peter Pan at the JC Library! Comedic duo Lenny and Mabel work to bring this literary classic to life in a hysterical play within a play. Come join us to fall in love with the antics of Tinkerbell, the bumbling Captain Hook, Darling Wendy (or should we say Wendy Darling) and of course the free-spirited adventurous boy who just wouldn’t grow up.

Join AndyRoo on a musical journey to the Andyrooniverse — a magical place created by the ever-expanding landscape of children’s imaginations, where you’ll encounter Sy the Sloth, Podgy the Platypus, and a big balloon that will whisk you away to a whole universe of exciting animated characters. Using storytelling, music making, and movement, this program teaches children about individuality, togetherness, and kindness through an active listening experience.

Get ready for an artistic, magical journey as Tommy Terrific goes canvassing through a magical art gallery in his new show, “The Magic of Art”. With the help of his Magical Guidebook, Tommy and the kids perform magic representing different mediums of art, from pencil and paints to crayons and clay. With each trick, they also learn about kid-friendly, classical styles of art, from the Renaissance all the way through Pop Art. So, give your summer a splash of color, and join us as we explore the “Magic of Art” at the JC Library!

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch for Ms. Janet's jaw-dropping program exploring facts, legends and myths from around the world, and attempt record-breaking challenges!

This program dives into to the unbelievable to investigate strange history, bizarre animal facts, fascinating mysteries, and mind-blowing world records. It’s packed with interactive challenges, sparking curiosity, that will inspire tweens to think outside the box. With each visit, they'll be introduced to things that seem near impossible, all while having fun and learning something new!

Teens ages 13-18 can register to play the popular roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library! All supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own dice and wear a costume!

Children ages 4 -11 years and their families are invited to come and paint space inspired art at this family painting program. Painting can get a little messy, so come prepared! We recommend bringing an apron or wearing clothes that can get paint on them. Due to limited space and supplies, this is a ticketed program. Tickets will be made available on a first come, first served basis 30 minutes before the program starts.
